| I would say don't play by the "rules" ... I don't believe in marriage, or anything to do with marriage so I wouldn't try to push anything like that on them. Don't try to control anybody, you can't make someone like you or love you, so just be yourself and love yourself, let people love you as well. Don't let other people's opinion of your boyfriend/girlfriend affect how you feel about them. Trust and respect are very very very important, don't settle for anything less than you deserve. Probably more things I'm just not thinking of at the moment...
